Double bevel deba

€ 200,00
uitverkocht

This deba-style knife was forged out of 130WCrV5 (1.2419.05) carbon steel. It has a ‘brut de forge’ finish that continues on the rounded spine and choil. This is a look I had not tried before but am very happy with.

With its 4mm thick spine, it is more chunky than the average knife. This makes it perfect for the more heavy duty tasks, but with the high carbon content it still takes a very keen edge.

The handle is a combination of spalted beech (with an amazing pattern) and a stabilized Karelian Birch bolster. Over time, with use, the blade will develop a patina and get an even more unique look.

To avoid rust formation and ensure the longevity of the knives, I advise you to clean and properly dry the blades after use. Doing so your knives will stay sharp even longer.
